This is Jonny. He came to us recently after quite a journey! His former owners moved to Taiwan and left him with his current foster mom to wait out his quarantine. Sadly, he was not able to make the flight because he was too frightened by the crating (who could blame him…that’s quite a long journey for a little guy!). Although his previous family loved him very much, Jonny needed a little work to improve his socialization skills and manners. His foster mom took him to US Canine for obedience training and he learned many new things! He learned to be quite obedient and an easy companion. Now he just needed a strong leader to let him know that he didn’t have to worry about trying to be “in charge”. He could just worry about the simple things every dog should be concerned with – belly rubs, treats, walks and naps! Now Jonny has his home. Mom is a retired school teacher. She is quite active and is even training now for a half marathon! She’ll have tons of free time to spend with Jonny and LOTS of time for walks! He will also have a new cat sister. Mom is committed to giving Jonny the discipline and leadership he needs…and most importantly, lots of love!
