Josh, a 1.5 year old purebred male golden was turned into the shelter by a family who said “no name was too much to handle”. We didn’t believe it. So we gave him a name and started giving him attention. He was the sweetest boy. Then he got very sick. So sick we thought we would lose him. His temperature soared past 104 degrees and we worried. Special people came forward and helped this special boy. We raised nearly all the money we needed to treat Josh and he got better. One of our wonderful vets knew a family who had just lost their beloved 14 year old golden, Bogie. Josh is just what they needed and they are just what Josh needed. Josh, now CODY, is still trying to figure out how to play with Smokey, the thing they call cat. Now, that’s what he calls “too miuch to handle”!
