We found Julliard, a purebred female Great Pyrenees, at a shelter. She must have belonged to someone because she had been spayed. She was approximately 3 years old and in pretty rough shape — so bad that we had to shave her in order to get the ticks out of her matted coat. Despite the haircut, Julliard was happy and were we because we knew we would find her the perfect new home. And we did. Julliard now has a new Mom and Dad and two little kids to raise. We somehow think those kids now have their own big pillow to lay on while watching TV. Julliard is one happy dog now and is acting more like a golden than Great Pyrenees every day.
