Kala, a wonderful 5 year old female purebred golden, was brought to us because her dad got transferred to Hawaii. Kala’s family didn’t want to put her through the stress of air travel and then quarantine so Kala decided to stay behind and find a new family. And we helped her find a great one. Now Kala has a new forever home in the mountains of North Georgia where she will be able to go on long walks and play in the Toccoa river. She has a wonderful new mom and dad and a 6 year old golden sister, Cassie. Kala’s new family recently lost their 14 year old golden and had been looking at a number of Golden Retriever rescue groups. But fell in love with our program, and then with Kala. Things quickly turned to the better for the whole clan. Kala and Cassie are already the best of girlfriends and love to pal around the house together, and mom and dad are so happy to have another golden girl around. Kala now has a great home where she can rest her paws and a terrific forever family to spoil her rotten for years and years to come. See, who needs Hawaii when you have Adopt a Golden Atlanta!?!
