Katie is a very sweet 1 year old female high mix golden retriever. A shelter in Alabama asked if we could please take her, of course we couldn’t refuse. She is a very sweet dog who is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. Unfortunately, Katie had heartworms but thanks to Caryl and Ken Smith they are now gone (we think it was her big brown eyes that touched thier hearts). Now that her heart is healthy it’s smiling too because Katie has been adopted. Now she has a mom and dad to call her own and 2 young boys to help raise and groom. She’s hoping they help groom her too. She’ll be the only furry kid in the house and plans to take full advantage of it. Katie has all kinds of plans to teach her humans how to toss the ball, rub her chest and take her for long walks. Fortunately for Katie, her new family can’t wait to spoil her!
