Katie is a rare chocolate golden! Okay, we know there is no such thing but Katie convinced us she was the first. A beautiful 8 year old female, Katie’s mom was moving into an elderly care facility and Katie couldn’t go with her. We promised to find Katie a good home and we did better than that. We found her a great home. Her new Mom & Dad were searching for a special dog that loves cats. Well Katie was adopted but she loved the cats too much. Because she didn’t have another dog to play with, she wanted to play with the cats all the time. The cats didn’t want to play with her. So, Katie came back. And Katie broke the record for the dog who stayed in foster care the longest. Then it happened. Katie was adopted! And, Katie didn’t even have to move. Her foster Dad adopted her! Katie is so happy and her Dad is too. He never got around to telling Katie she was just staying with him temporarily so Katie thinks she’s been home for months.
