Kipling was found at a shelter, all alone in a corner of a cage. She had been picked up as a stray and no one came looking for her. We came and got her and off we went to the vet. Her age is estimated to be anywhere from 5-7 years. Unfortunately, Kipling had heartworms and had to be treated and cured of those nasty things before we could find her a forever home. She was placed with one of our wonderful fosters who helped nurse Kipling back to health. Kipling and her foster mom quickly formed a very special bond. Mom is a teacher with two sons in college. She lost her previous dog a few months back and, in caring for Kipling, she fell in love. When the time came to find Kipling a forever family her foster mom knew she could not give this girl away. Mom adopted Kipling and now the two will share a happy and healthy golden forever!
