I’m only 3 but it wasn’t too long ago my whole life disappeared and I ended up in a shelter. My owners said I wasn’t nice to some kids but no one bothered to find out why or what happened. I learned that usually the dog gets blamed for bad things so there I was- homeless and unwanted. That is until AGA found me and helped me find a new family. I know how lucky I was because a lot of the dogs at that shelter won’t have another chance. That’s a sad thing to think about. While I was at the doctor place two people met me and they said they couldn’t stop thinking about me. So they went to the AGA Gala to learn more about all the goldens that have been helped when they became orphans. They put their names down for me and after getting all checked out, there I was – in a new home! That’s what adoption is – you get a new mom and dad (and maybe even a cat like I did) and they think you are the best dog of all dogs. They play with you and buy toys and treats and think you are just perfect. That never happened to me before but I can get used to it! Love to everyone, Kipper (now Kipper Belle)
