Kylee is a young female purebred golden retriever who is estimated to be 8 months old. She was found as a stray in North Georgia and was sitting in the shelter and in danger of being put down. When we were notified, one of our volunteers jumped in her jeep and rushed to get her. Kylee was very happy and just buried her head in our volunteer’s arms. Her foster even reports that Kylee was one of the best dogs she had ever had. Now her new family is experiencing the same joys. Her new mom who works part time and dad is a physician. So she’ll get lots of time with her people and tons of TLC. She also has a 14 year old human sister who has promised to take Kylee on lots of walks and a 10 year old human brother who will play fetch with Kylee to her heart’s content. Kylee also has three new feline siblings, so she’ll no doubt learn the house rules quickly if the cats have it their way. According to her foster on their home visit, Kylee had to do her best to ignore that feisty cat who was lying on the table and already living up to the slogan — Cats Rule and Dogs Drool. There is no way Kylee is going to get in the way of the Queen of the house. We can’t wait to hear how she wins the kitties over…
