I used to be just a regular dog but since I came to America I turned into a princess. I found my new mom and dad and they needed me. See, there used to be a boy golden here and he was chosen to be an angel dog so they were really missing him. We all spend lots of time together and dad is teaching me about something called “radio” and how to drive his truck (I give directions) and when it’s warm out again I am going to see if I can learn “swimming”. I’m not sure what that is but there is a big pond in the back yard with a cover over it. I tried walking on it but I don’t think that’s the same as swimming. I’m learning house manners. You just go to the door and someone opens it for you. It’s really easy. I heard we have another house on a river, somewhere. I can’t wait to see that! I think I have been very lucky ever since the volunteers in Turkey found me and I want to thank them and my American sponsors, Donna and Larry Bradner and all the AGA folks. Turkey dogs have no idea what it’s like to come here and never have to worry again but I hope many more will know this before long. Love, hugs and kisses, Lace
