Lacey Belle, a 6 year old purebred female golden had been an outside dog for most of her life. One day, she told her family she wanted to move inside! She was scared of storms and needed someone to protect her and keep her safe. Her Dad didn’t want a big indoor dog so her Mom looked for us. We knew we’d take her when we met her — she was pretty special and we had lots of people who wanted a dog just like her. She loved dogs and cats too! So when this young couple who had a lab her same age wanting a best friend and 2 cats contacted us, we thought Lacey made the phone call. It was just what she ordered. What a new family! And although she has a big fenced yard, she does enjoy her new nights right in front of the fireplace. Goldens are supposed to do that for hours and hours. Lacey learns quickly.
