We rescued Lady, a 7 year old female golden, from the rescue organization up in Dewy Rose that the Department of Agriculture is trying to shut down. It appears from her paperwork that she has lived at this shelter with 150 other dogs for over 4 years! She looked terrible when we got her but after a bath and haircut she was a new woman, and now this little lady has a whole new family too! Lady’s new mom and dad are retired so they have lots of time for Lady, her older golden brother, Augie, and the little 1 year old pup Missy. Lady already loves Augie and is working on getting used to having a little sister tagging along. Dad even bought to bunch a new van so they can travel to the park in style. But Lady has really been eyeing mom’s red corvette. A ride in the Corvette’s passenger seat with the top down is more up to Lady’s speed. Nonetheless, Lady is loving being part of a family and knowing she will never be left alone again.
