Lady, a 7 year old female golden had spent much of her life chained in the backyard … except when she escaped to the neighbors and borrowed sugar. She’s afraid of storms when she’s outside but not inside. Sorta like people. Problem is she was left outside during storms. Talk about cruel. But she is very mellow…think Nana in Peter Pan. She was known as the rescuer in the neighborhood- bringing home kittens and baby bunnies and putting them on the porch unhurt. Lady is a special soul and deserved a special home where she would never be left alone in a backyard. A kind lady was looking for a special companion. She had recently lost her beloved golden and had also retired. She had lots of time on her hands and lots of love to give. Now she and Lady live together and neither one will ever be lonely. They will take walks and go to the park and play in the backyard — companions for life.
