Lainey – Needs a Permanent Foster

Hi, my name is Lainey, and I’m a 7-year-old, 65-pound golden girl who is ready for a very special next chapter.

I spent my life as a beloved breeder dog in Oklahoma, and when it was time to retire, my family trusted AGA to find me a wonderful home.

Now, I’m looking for something a little different than most of my golden friends here. I’m looking for a permanent foster to walk beside me through this next chapter of my life. I’ve been diagnosed with cancer. AGA will cover all of my medical care. You will just provide the home, the comfort, and the love as a permanent foster parent for however long I have.

I’m a super sweet, chill girl who loves people and giving hugs! I know how to sit and shake, walk nicely on a leash, and I love following my people around (I LOVE affection). I sleep peacefully in my dog bed at night. I’m also wonderful with small children and other dogs, and I am house-trained.

I do like to chew when left to my own devices, so I’ll need a little supervision and some appropriate things to keep me busy. I love hard bones, balls, frozen kongs, and lick mats.

After spending so much of my life caring for others, I think it’s finally my turn to be someone’s special girl. With hugs and hope, Lainey
