Laker, the sweet, gentle 2 year old female golden Mom to the 3 Laker pups: Sinclair, Spivey and Lanier, was given to us by a breeder. The breeder had no use for Laker. According to her, Laker was not a worthy breeder dog because her litters were always small (like the 3 pups she just had). She may not be a good breeding dog but Laker is the perfect family golden and more than worthy of a loving family to care for. So we helped Laker find her perfect forever home and now she has her very own mom and dad. Laker was adopted by a wonderful couple who lost their beloved golden to cancer a few months back. They met a number of our dogs but Mom and dad were torn. They had so much love to give and missed the special companionship of a golden, but weren’t sure if it was too soon to bring another dog into their family. Once they met Laker their concerns were put to rest and they knew she was their girl. Laker will be the couple’s only child, plus mom is a stay at home mom so you know Laker will be getting all the love and attention she’d missed in that puppy mill. Laker is finally enjoying the good life, and nothing could be better!
