This is Lily, a wonderful, small 5 year old female golden retriever. She has a lovable, kissable golden personality. Her family took her from an abusive household when the battered woman had to go to a shelter. Poor Lily! Her new family loved her very much but then the kids came. Mom and Dad never saw it, but supposedly their little boy was nipped at by Lily twice when the grandma was there. They had her canine teeth filed down by a dentist and gave her to the nanny. When the young boy started Pre-k and the nanny was “let go”—guess what? The nanny gave Lily back. They called us. Lily has been through an incredible upheaval but she wags her tail and gives kisses. She wants to be part of a LOVING family and now she has found just that. Lily was adopted by a wonderful couple who adopted Luke from us 3 years ago. Luke and Lilly hit it off immediately. Both are so excited to have a golden playmate and can’t seem to get enough of each other. Since he was a rescue too Luke has been extra loving and welcoming towards his new sis. Lily has seen her fair share of hard times but now she will finally get to enjoy the life she has always deserved, one filled with tons of toys, treats and love- forever!
