Here I am back again for the big news! I’m adopted- can you believe it? This is the four year old boy who never thought he’d live anywhere except outside in the yard. Then I decided to run away with some of my pals but we got caught and ended up in a shelter. Now that life is behind me because my new family wants me to be with them. We can play in our fenced in yard and go to my two new kids’ ball games but the rest of the time I am going to live inside. The folks in the shelter in S.C. where I used to live told me this would all happen and, you know what I said? I said “I’ll believe it when I see it.” Well, I’m seeing it for the first time and it’s wonderful. My mom stays home with me and we will keep each other company and I will help her by barking if the phone rings to let her know someone is calling and I’ll follow her to watch what she is doing (when you are working it’s important to have a dog watch) and I’ll look out the window to wait for the kids to come home from school and then watch for dad. At night I am going to sleep in my mom and dad’s room on my own fluffy bed which is another “first” for me. Things couldn’t get any better. Thank you all a million times. Lincoln the house dog.
