Hi friends, it’s me — Lissie… well, Cassie now! I used to wander the world alone, unsure where I belonged. When I arrived at AGA as a stray, I had an abscess on my neck and something called heartworms. I didn’t know what came next, but the people at AGA promised me I’d be safe. And they kept that promise. After healing up a bit, I went looking for a home, but I guess I forgot to mention I’m not a fan of cats (oops). That first Foster-to-Adopt didn’t work out, but AGA didn’t give up. Then I met the Agnellos.
They saw something special in me, even though I was a little shy around Steve, he was so gentle and patient. He gave me the time and love I needed to trust him. During my heartworm treatment, they were right by my side every step of the way. And now? I have a mom and dad who are both home most of the day. I get all the attention a pup could ever want! We go for walks, spend time in the yard, and I’ve even started showing off my playful side. They say every day I get a little braver, a little happier. I’m not just adopted. I’m home. With love (and lots of tail wags), Cassie
