Lola will be 3 years old in January. She is a purebred female golden whose family brought her to the shelter to be put down. Lola had two seizures and the owners could not afford the tests she needs to determine the cause of the seizures or the medication she will most likely need. Because the shelter knew that many dogs can live normal, happy lives even if they are prone to seizures, they called us. We agreed because we know many dogs who are just fine once they are taking the right medicine. Lola just hit gold! She has been adopted by a wonderful family. Dad works from home so we’re sure she will soon be his little assistant. They are well on their way to spoiling her already with her new pink collar, crate and her very own bed in dad’s car for all of those car rides. Not to mention all the toys she’ll have to play with with her new human siblings. Lola has many more happy years!
