This is London, a sweet 10 week old purebred male golden retriever puppy. When we first brought London in he was sick. London’s breeder had taken him to the vet and he started getting better but the breeder took him home because he couldn’t afford the vet bill. London was OK for a few days but got sick again. The breeder was going to put him down but we begged him to give him to us. We brought him to the Emergency Vet and when we arrived, London was nearly dead. He was not moving. He spent the weekend at the ER vet with IV’s and lots of meds being pumped into him. His blood profiles were strange. No one could figure out why he was sick. They told us they didn’t have much hope and we should probably give up. We refused even though it was costing lots of money we wanted to give it another 24 hours. Our baby London made it through and actually sat up and barked. For the next couple of days our volunteers picked him up at the ER and took him to our regular vet and took him back to the ER at night. His ordeal has stumped the vets but he has pulled through and has a bright future with an amazing forever home. London’s new forever family is just great. They have owned two golden retrievers and after having to put their second one down, mom and dad decided it was only right to bring in another golden boy to love. Mom, dad, and their two teenagers, Miller and Dickson, couldn’t help but fall in love with London. They knew they were the right family to give this little pup, who had struggled so much in his short life, the very best forever a golden could ask for. With a big fenced in yard, a swimming pool, a couple cats, and humans who already love him to pieces, London forever is sure to be a great one!
