Lucky, a 4 year old male golden mix was not lucky. Lucky belonged to an elderly couple and was happy until his mom died. Then dad got ill and had to move into an assisted living place. He begged his children to find a home for his dog. His children took Lucky to the animal shelter. Nice kids! Well, when we heard the story, we had to help. A family was looking for a gentle, kind dog. We knew Lucky would be perfect for them. They met and it was Lucky’s lucky day. Today, Lucky has his very own 9 year old girl to raise. Mom’s a school teacher which means she has the whole summer to be with Lucky. And, guess what? Lucky lives up at Lake Lanier. We see swimming in his future. Yep, that’s what we call one lucky dog.
