Meet Lucky, a 6 month old male golden puppy who was given to us by his owners because he was getting a bit unruly (as all male golden pups will do without obedience training). Lucky was showing all the signs of boredom and stubbornness – things that can easily be fixed with lots of exercise and consistent training. So we found Lucky a home with a big fenced in yard to run around in and a wonderful forever mom to shower him with attention. Mom came to adoption day looking for a female dog, but she couldn’t pass up this little guy. The connection was immediate- Lucky was her man. Since mom is retired she’ll have plenty of time to keep Lucky active. Lucky’s already got a new pack of tennis ball for all those games of fetch and a full jar of treats for training. Mom’s previous dogs have lived long and happy lives and we know this is just the beginning of a golden forever for this Lucky pup.
