Lucy is a sweet young female golden retriever about 12 – 18 months old who was “impounded” by county animal control and the owner never came for her. We are not exactly sure what that means, possibly a foreclosure or abandoned home but Lucy was picked up and taken away to the shelter. We went and picked her up and found that she was just the sweetest girl! She weighs about 50 pounds and looks like she’s had a tough time. But the school of hard knocks is long behind her. Lucy has a great new family that plans to show her all the spoils of family life! Lucy’s new family includes mom, dad and a 2 year old little boy. Lucy and dad are going to be the running buddies and she’ll be mom’s footwarmer when mom’s busy working from home. When Mom is out and about, Lucy will stay with Owen and the nanny. Her new family recently lost their previous dog to illness but when Mom saw Lucy at adoption day, she ran home and got dad. Now Lucy is busy healing their human hearts!
