Lucy Hunt is a 6 year old female golden retriever who was abandoned by her family in Alabama when they moved away. A neighbor took Lucy to keep her from getting picked up by Animal Control but could not keep her. So one of our wonderful volunteers in Alabama found out about Lucy and knew AGA would help her. Not too long ago, another wonderful lady came into Lucy’s life. She had recently lost her golden and was very sad. When Lucy met her she vowed to help heal her human heart and make her smile again. That was all the nice lady needed and she became known to Lucy as mom. Now mom and Lucy are busy making each other’s dreams come true. Mom has a beautiful golden girl at her feet again and Lucy has a great new mom to rub and caress her. Now Lucy will get plenty of attention and love from mom and frequent visits from mom’s nieces and nephews too.
