Luke, a big 6 month old, 62 pound purebred puppy was all puppy. He had no manners and was a “mouther”. He was a little rambuctious and needed a family with good training skills. He was given to us by a family who couldn’t spend quality time with him and Luke was bored in the backyard. That’s bad for any dog but a six month golden pup is miserable without a human to belong to. We knew he would be a great dog if we could find a family who knew how to raise a golden. We didn’t have to look long. A wonderful family who had an 8 year old golden boy wanted a youngster for him to play with. He was slowing down and a pup would perk him up. Well, Luke went to visit and Mom and Dad fell in love instantly along with Bailey, the golden. Most importantly, Luke has his own little girl to raise and they have become best friends too. Luke is sporting a new University of Florida collar and is trying to learn the “Go GATORS” bark.
