Guess what? That part in my body that didn’t work right is all fixed now and I’m getting better every day! I can tell everything is working just fine. When I first came to AGA I was a lost dog until someone helped me get there. My new doctor discovered I had this problem, thank goodness, because otherwise I could have died. I’m only four and I had so many things I wanted to do. My AGA friends said, don’t worry little LuLu, we won’t let you down. So I went to a special heart doctor that fixes things in a dog’s chest. I had to go to college to get it done but I graduated pretty fast and went back to my new home. I think the thing that made all the difference was that my foster mom and dad adopted me before I went to the college place.. It’s called UGA which is almost like AGA so I knew it was a good place. They have a dog too. The reason I did so well was because they turned into my real mom and dad and told me that everything would be ok and they would be waiting for me. How could I not do well with that kind of promise? Now I’m back home with my two little dog friends. They made me a get well card and jumped up and down when I walked in the door. Now I can do things with my family. I whispered to my doctor that I love to swim and she told my parents that swimming was really good exercise and then she winked at me. That means it is our secret that I gave her a hint! And the most important thing I’ll never forget is all the angels that sent money to pay my doctor. You wouldn’t believe how many! I think they were all there when I was having my operation ’cause I could feel them holding my paws when I was asleep. I love you all -LuLu
