Macy, a 7 year old female purebred golden, had a pretty tough life before she was brought to us. Macy was originally bought to be a hunting dog and failed to excel in that sport and was turned in to the animal shelter. Then she was adopted by a loving family and was spoiled rotten like she should have but then she got caught up in an ugly divorce. She was tossed aside to the backyard for over a year. Then she was saved by a neighbor and was spoiled again. All was well — then the baby came. Macy didn’t get the same kind of attention. She couldn’t understand this baby and when the baby started crawling, Macy would paw it. So Macy was given away again. But now she finally has a real forever home. Macy’s new mom and dad are wonderful people who had their last golden for 12 years until she died of cancer and they came to us in search of another golden girl. Macy was the perfect pick for the couple. Both are retired so Macy gets to spend all day with her new parents. She also has an older human brother who is home before he goes to medical school. Macy loves finally having a home of her own. After some hard times Macy is finally getting all the love and attention she so deserved.
