Congratulations to me! I have a new family! My mom and dad and my new brother and sister dogs and now, me, all live on a big farm with big things called horses. We even have a cat! My new best friend is a boy golden who was once an AGA orphan too and he is 10. I am 11 and I used to live with a family but then they moved and left me behind. If I had a dog I wouldn’t do that to it. It’s very frightening for everyone to just leave! Now I feel safe with so many good friends around ma and we have some big adventures planned! To be honest I was very worried if I’d ever find a real home again but everyone said, “Be patient – it will happen!” You see, lots of people want younger dogs but I found out that you don’t need a whole bunch of families to want you -it only takes ONE! You have to be patient and wait. What I have learned is that when you are an older dog you are very, very special and only a very, very special family can find you. I wish I could tell all the older dogs what I I have learned. Thank you everyone at AGA and my new family for making me a happy girl again! Love from Madeline Grace
