Maggie is a female Great Pyrenees and is about to be 3 years old. Her former owner has had her since she was 8 weeks old but can no longer keep her due to school. She turned to us to find Maggie a wonderful home… one like she has always had. Maggie has been an indoor dog her whole life and will continue in that wonderful tradition. Great Pyrenees are not the type of dog you can just let wander around and expect them to stay around. She needs a home where she can live indoors but have plenty of outdoor space and access. She needs an owner who wants a Great Pyrenees and knows how to take care of them. Maggie is a wonderful dog. She loves to play, loves to relax, loves to go for car rides. She is wonderful with children and loves to play with other dogs. She chases cats and vacuum cleaners. In fact, Maggie was adopted 3 weeks ago by a wonderful family with a senior golden and two cats. They thought they could train Maggie to leave the cats alone. After a scratch on the nose, Maggie was obsessed and was trying to get the cat. So, Maggie is looking for a new home again…. one that is catless. She loves little kids and dogs and as with all Great Pyreness would be happiest with a fence – and not an electric one (they are difficult to keep contained with an electric fence). Sweet Maggie is going home! She has just found her forever family and she is going to be one busy girl. She has a stay at home mom who’s sure to spoil her rotten and three human kids to help look after. We imagine the kids are going to have this big girl involved in everything!
