Marley is an approximately 3 year old purebred male Golden Retriever. One of our volunteers saw Marley being advertised in the local credit union’s version of the classifieds – “free to good home”. His last owner called him Marley and helped take care of him for the last few months. He was rescued by this nice woman in order to prevent Marley from We called and said we would be happy to take Marley and she was so relieved knowing we would make sure Marley found his forever home. Marley likes children and other dogs. Unfortunately, Marley had heartworms and needed a sponsor to pay for his treatment. Our thanks goes to Mark Signorelli, one of our great supporters for giving Marley a second chance. Marley went into foster care with one of our most experienced fosters and she helped him through the heartworm treatment and could not let go of this special boy. Our active foster now has 2 wonderful dogs and Marley will meet many new dogs in the future that need help just like him as his new owner will continue to be an active foster.
