Marlowe, a 7 year old purebred golden was found as a stray. We don’t know what happened to Marlowe but we could tell she had been traumatized. When we first brought her in, she was so afraid that she just cowered in corners. It was obvious she had been mistreated. Marlowe went to a loving foster home and made great progress but was still very shy. Marlowe needed to be adopted by a very special family who would have patience, understanding and lots of love for her. One day we got an email inquiring about Marlowe. We thought it was too good to be true. A couple had read her story and wanted her! They couldn’t wait to meet her. Today, Marlowe has a mom and dad and Bailey – her new golden brother who is older and can teach her to be brave. She loves him. Marlowe will never be mistreated ever again. She will know only love, bellyrubs and long walks in the park.
