Max is a 4 year old purebred male golden retriever. He has a little nub of a tail because when he was a puppy he had a run in with a raccoon and the raccoon bit his tail off. He does wiggle his butt though! His owners surrendered him because they had to leave him tied out in the yard and could no longer take good care of him. The family knew it would be better to send Max to a family where he could live a golden life and now Max thanks them for their decision. This handsome guy now has a shiny new home. When Max met his new family they all spent most of their visit on the floor. Well, that must have been when Max worked his magic because later that evening mom and dad called professing their love and asking if Max could please come home. So, home he went. Now Max lives with a great new mom and dad and a human brother of his very own. When Max first arrived at his new home dad even greeted him with a video camera so that he could relive Max’s arrival over and over. When they showed Max his new bed, he climbed on and started playing with his new toys. It was as if he knew he was home…
