My name is Max. I am a super sweet golden boy with a gentle heart and a second chance at a happy ending.

I was found as a stray and ended up at a local shelter. When no one came to claim me, AGA welcomed me with open arms. While no one knows much about my past, everyone I’ve met agrees on one thing — I’m an incredibly sweet and loving boy.

At intake, we thought I was a little older, but after learning more about me, we discovered that I’m actually 4.5 years old! And honestly, my youthful energy makes a lot more sense now. I love to be active and would do best with a fenced yard where I can run, explore, and get my zoomies out.

I’m house-trained and a little underweight at 57 pounds. I’m working on gaining a few pounds and getting nice and healthy.  I love leaning in close for pets, soaking up affection, and being near my people. I am also a big cuddler!
