Meadow is a lovely 3 year old female purebred golden. Her first family had to move and turned her in to a golden rescue in another state. When this other rescue adopted her to a new family, she became fearful of the 20 year old son. We don’t know what happened but they returned her in 4 days and she has been afraid of men since. We offered to take her into our program and after work with our behavioral trainer she is learning to trust all kinds of men. Now her new mom and human sister plan to help her along her journey. They made a 4 hour trip down from NC just to adopt our sweet meadow. After a session with they trainer at US Canine they were on their way. Meadow was just as loving as usual and really did love her new mom. Mom works from home as a massage & energy therapist in the healing arts and all her dogs have lived very long lives. (They probably get massages). Meadow will live with 4 cats on 2 ½ acres — all fenced. She also has a 94 year old grandmother who lives next door and the grown human siblings are nearby too so Meadow has a built in babysitting club. Now this princess is beginning her own fairy tale life.
