Mercer was a stray and no one came for him. We are puzzled since he is such a great dog. We estimate his age to be around 3 years. He has lots of personality. He sits between your legs and knows sit and down but not a long down cause he gets excited. He is very affectionate. He was glad to get out of jail and even happier to be in his new forever home. Mercer has been adopted by a great family who recently lost their 10 year old golden to cancer. Their 2 year old miniature dauschound missed her old golden friend dearly and the whole family agreed it was time to open their home and their hearts to another golden guy. Mercer was their man. Now Mercer has a mom and dad who love him, two teenagers to hang out with, and a little doggie sister who, as a rescue herself, already loves her big adopted bro. Mercer has a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving and for every Thanksgiving to come!
