I am 7 and I used to just have puppies on a farm and mostly I lived outside. I got heartworms and when I cam to AGA I wished really hard for help to pay for my medicine. Then along came Ty, Izzy, Buzz and Nicky. They used to be AGA dogs and they wanted me to be as lucky as they have been. I was amazed they cared so much! After I got better I went to some adoption days which I didn’t exactly enjoy too much because I am kind of shy. I just wanted to go back to my foster home. Now, I have a secret for dogs. So only dogs can read this part-ok? See, if you really, really love your foster home here’s what you do so you don’t have to leave. Be polite when you meet other people but don’t be too happy! If you go to try out a new home, be sad and stay in a corner and sleep. Make your eyes unhappy and mope around and don’t play with the toys. Look out the window like you are waiting for your fosters to come back. Pick at your food. If the kids want to play, walk away and get under a table. I guarantee you will be back “home” before you know it. The new family that I tried out was nice but I did miss my first family and I couldn’t get over that feeling. So they wanted me to be happy and let me go back to my fosters. Boy, when I saw them and my yard and everything I was used to, everyone agreed this was the place for me! And I agreed the most. So that’s my advice to you orphan dogs- it works! Love you all, Mia
