Meet Milk Dud, one of the 8 Candy Bar puppies. His litter was brought in to a shelter in Alabama. Mom was a purebred golden. We think there were two dads – one golden and one poodle since half the litter looks golden and half look like golden doodles. Milk Dud looks like a Doodle. Now this laid back snuggle bug is enjoying the spoils of his new Carolina home. He was adopted by a terrific family who came all the way from Charlotte just for him. Mom and dad previously owned a sweet golden girl and lost her a few years ago at the age of 12. Now Milk Dud is hoping to follow in her footsteps and make mom, dad and his new 6 year old human sister really happy. Mom stays at home so there will be plenty of bonding time for mom and Milk. When his new sister comes home he plans to ask all about her day and soak up all that she learned at school. When dad gets home, it’s party time – okay, maybe just play time – but either way Milk Dud is one happy pup. Here’s to another happy beginning…
