Molly is a 5 year old purebred female golden retriever who was surrendered to us when her former owners had a change in the family dynamics that wasn’t working for Molly. The family had to take in two older relatives along with their black lab mix. Before that she was living happily with a Jack Russell Terrier, a Beagle and an older golden retriever — things were just great. Molly was sad, but now she’s happy again! She had a new family on her Santa list and she got it! Molly was adopted by mom, dad and their 17 year old son Brooks. They also have another son who is away at college. Her new family lost their sheltie early this year and their home just felt empty. Now their house is feeling like home again. Molly needed a home without other dogs so this was perfect. They said that Molly was making their holiday so wonderful.. she is just what they needed. Brooks also always wanted a dog who would retrieve a tennis ball (since Shelties are not known for the trait). Once Molly saw that ball, she was off. As we left, we knew she was finally home.
