Molly is a 10 year old female golden retriever who was an owner surrender because she kept getting out of the fence (easily). The former owner got Molly when she was 5 at a local rescue when he was looking for an Australian Shepherd but he fell for her instead. Sadly, he couldn’t afford a new fence and was afraid she would get hit by a car on the busy road so he asked us for help. Of course, we said yes! While she was with us we learned a few things about her, she was housetrained, very sweet, loves other dogs, was extremely tolerant of children, loved to ride in the car, very obedient, a great leash walker, and an excellent treat taker. She is simply perfect and she’s quite the active gal. We just needed a family who fit her (and who deserved her). Well, Molly has found her fit! She waited for the perfect family and her persistence paid off golden style! Her new family was looking for the perfect addition to their family, as they lost their 12 year old lab last summer. Suzie, their 9 year old lab was excited about the prospect of having a furry sister again too! Mom and dad both work out of the home, but Molly is eager for summer to get here as mom works in education and has summers off. She also has a mountain house and beach house that she can’t wait to visit! Suzie even showed Molly that they are allowed on the bed – or they could cuddle up together in their very own twin bed next to mom and dad’s. She will now swim at her new beach home and take lots of walks at her new mountain home with her new family. She also has a few grandkids that are just dying to meet her too! All we can say is Good Golly Miss Molly! Some things are just meant to be…
