I was first at a rescue called Adopt a Golden Knoxville. Then I came to AGA because they ran out of room for more dogs at the other place. That worked out just fine because I found a home and didn’t even know it at first. I went to be with a foster dad who had a golden named King who also used to be an AGA orphan. At first King didn’t like me but then he got used to me. I didn’t blame him because he wasn’t feeling too well and it wasn’t his fault. Just after our dad adopted me King told me it was time for him to say good-bye and that he was leaving me all his things but mostly he wanted me to be sure and take care of Dad. I told him I would -that he shouldn’t worry. Dad and I have been pretty sad and missing King but as long as we stay together we’ll be alright. I’m glad King liked me before he left.
