Well, going into the New Year I had a few “Resolutions / Things to Do in 2012” list: (1) Gain 5-10 lbs so I can be a healthy 2-year old Yellow Lab–I’m 59 lbs right now, (2) Trust the people in my life and know they will not harm me, as some did last year, and (3) Find me a great Forever Home with a fenced backyard, other dogs to play with and a safe house to live and thrive in. Now I have already accomplished two of them and and quickly accomplishing resolution number 2! My new family makes it really easy and they have given me a new name to start my new life – Murphy! They said they picked this name for three reasons: (1) it’s an Irish good luck name, (2) my previous infamous escape proved that “if something can go wrong, it will (Murphy’s Law), and (3) I was allowed to sleep on the bed (as in a Murphy bed). Now I have a wonderful new home and a spacious backyard – boy have I hit the jackpot. Love, Monty the Lab. Take a look at my video!
