My name made me feel pretty! I heard some people say I was a beautiful and sweet girl. I found myself lost and in a shelter in a place called Alabama. A nice girl named Tammy called AGA and asked if I could be one of their dogs because I really needed a new home. They said “Sure- and we’ll call her Moonbeam!” They thought I was only about 2 1/2 years old and was a light color golden retriever -almost the color of the moon at night. I stopped off at the dog doctor when I got to Atlanta and got some bad news. I had something called heartworms. These are very bad for a dog- they make you very sick and dogs will die if they don’t get medicine to kill them. My foster mom helped me through my treatment which took a long time then it was finally time for me to meet families. She drove me all around until we met a family with 2 great kids that was looking for a girl just like me. I stole their hearts! They say I was the sweetest girl with impeccable manners, housetrained and loved to be with her Peeps! I now being loved..like a thousand times a day!! Thank you to everyone who helped me. Love, your Moonbeam girl.
