Meet Muldoon or “Doon” for short. We heard that he was lying in an Alabama shelter after being hit by a car! Yes, if you look closely, that is tear stains under his eye. So, we marshaled our forces and some wonderful people in Alabama to go get him and take him to a local vet where we found that he had a broken pelvis but would heal and everything else was good. We planned to bring Muldoon to Atlanta when he was in better shape for travel. In Alabama he was fostered by the same great family who adopted Reagan from us a few years back. Mom and dad were so kind to take in Muldoon and nurse him back to health. At first, Reagan was curious about this new dog in his home. He and Muldoon stuck to different ends of the house until eventually the moved into the same room. Reagan must have realized Muldoon was not half bad; in fact, he kind of even liked the guy. Soon enough the two were best friends. Mom and dad even found them sleeping with their paws draped over one another spooning. Turns out no travel arrangements were necessary for Doon. He was quite happy in Alabama and Reagan told him he could stay and mom and dad agreed. So Muldoon’s temporary fosters became his forevers and now Doon will live happily ever after romping around brother Reagan forever!
