I am a 6ish year old boy and they named me after a cartoon dog. Like him I might be a mix – I think I am Chesapeake Bay Retriever and something else… I hope golden. I have a handsome coat which is sable. If you had a chance to check out the other orphans you would have seen what an incredible find I am! That’s right- one of a kind- no other dog comes close! At first I was taken care of by the dog doctor who is arranging some special medicine for me to make me stop having what is called a seizure. They’re not fun and I was more than happy to have that problem solved! Except for needing some extra groceries to pack on a few more pounds I am a healthy, easy going, mellowed out kind of guy. Well, I patiently waited and then a new family found me and I made a long trip to a place called Michigan to my new home. Don’t think that didn’t take some planning! It was a long car ride but I got there in plenty of time for a Superbowl party with my mom and dad, the grand kids and friends. I was such a hit- they all wanted to take me home! Now I am not a Southerner any more- I am a Yankee! What adventures I have had- but now I am home. It’s a really good feeling! Love to all- Muttley now called Mitt.
