My name is Muttley Sr, and I’m a 9-year-old soul who’s finally getting the care and kindness I’ve been missing.
I was found as a stray and needed help right away. Life out there was tough on me… I’m a bit underweight at 57 pounds, dealing with arthritis that makes walking harder, and my skin is still healing from severe dermatitis. But now I’m safe, and things are already starting to look up.
Even with everything I’ve been through, everyone says the same thing about me – I’m incredibly sweet, friendly, and social. I love people, I want to be close, and I still have so much love to give. All the changes have made me a little anxious, but I just lean into gentle hands and kind voices.
Right now, I’m still settling in and learning what it means to feel safe and cared for. As I move into a foster home, we’ll learn even more about me, but one thing is already clear… I have a soft heart and a loving spirit.
What I’m hoping for is a calm, patient home that will give me the time, comfort, and care I need to continue healing. And in return, I’ll give you all the quiet love a sweet senior like me has to offer.
