Nacho is a sweet young male golden retriever mix who was found in a county in Georgia which has no animal control facility. The local vet acts as the county shelter and volunteers help to try to place stray dogs that come in. They are forced to put dogs down if rescue cannot be found but when this golden boy came in they called us immediately. We decided to take him because of his personality and size. At first, he was a little nervous but perked up when he knew a nice lady had come to take him to a place that wasn’t bad. He is a tiny, gentle little guy weighing only 47 pounds. We think it was his size combined with his sweetness and playfulness that helped to woo him new family. In his new home, Nacho has great new parents and a 6-yr old AGA alumni sister named Sammi.
Sammi recently lost her fur sister Ginger, so she was thrilled when she found out that she would have a brother coming to live with her. Ginger leaped at the opportunity to showing him the ropes and show him off to all of her furry friends in the neighborhood.
