My name used to be Nala, and I had a family who loved me, but something was missing—I needed a doggy friend. My family knew it was best for me, so even though it was hard, they let me go so I could find the perfect home. And guess what? I did! My new family calls me Scarlett, and I fit right in from the start. I go on long morning walks, cuddle with my mom during her Zoom meetings, and at night, I sleep next to my human sister. Best of all, I have a built-in best friend—my new canine brother, Otis! I’ve even made lots of neighborhood dog friends, and I’m trying to be buddies with the cat, Maud (she’s still deciding if she likes me).
