It’s me, Nala… but you can call me Maggie Mae now! Not long ago, my sister Nova and I were surrendered to AGA when our family had to move out of state and couldn’t take us with them. It was a tough goodbye, and to make things harder, we were both heartworm positive. But AGA promised us that better days were ahead, and they were right.
Now, I’m living my best life with the Straka family, and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. My mom and dad say I’ve helped fill a space in their hearts after losing their last pup, and that makes me feel so loved. I get to go on walks, play with toys, stretch out in my fenced yard, and most of all, just soak up all the snuggles and spoiling I can handle. (I’m very good at that.) I’m especially proud that my mom is a dedicated AGA volunteer because it means she helps other pups like me find their forever homes too. From the bottom of my big Golden heart, thank you to everyone who helped me get here. Life is golden, and I’m right where I belong. Love, Maggie Mae (formerly Nala)
