Nathan is a 2 year old purebred golden retriever who was found up in Tennessee going through the garbage bin at a restaurant. The lady who found him took him home and called the number on his tag. The owner said the dog lived on a chain in the backyard and didn’t want him back. Thank Goodness! Nathan deserved a better life than one on a chain – like all dogs do – and we found one for him. He was originally transferred from a rescue in Tennessee because he was too “wild” for their program. After a little time and direction he calmed right down. Now he will have a mom and dad, a college bound human sibling and a home filled with lots of love and attention. Mom and dad have had several goldens in their past, so they know exactly how to handle this boy. He will get long walks and be an only dog. A calm life with lots of patience and love – just what the doctor ordered!
