Newman, a 7 year old male golden was a fatty boy weighing in at 103 pounds. Newman’s story is pretty sad. His mother dropped him and his little scottie/cocker sister off at the shelter because dad is very ill and they just couldn’t care for them any longer. Newman and his sister were in pretty poor shape – smelly, matted. But just look at how handsome he is now. If those eyes were blue, you’d think we had named him after Paul. Well, anyway, Newman was placed with a foster mom who got him in shape and today he looks gorgeous. So gorgeous and sweet that foster mom couldn’t part with him. She had no intention of adopting a dog but Newman stole her heart. So Newman has two 12 year old golden siblings whom he loves. And, he adores his new mom cause she takes him to work with her — where he charms every one he meets. Talk about ole brown eyes!
